Ann M. Migneco, 86, of Newark, passed away at home Friday October, 9, 2020
Ann is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Migneco and her husband Dusty Varga, Marie Barry and her husband Thomas, Laura Migneco-Frentzko and her husband Brian, Patricia, sons John and his wife Deborah Ventz-Migneco, Joseph, grandchildren Raymond Migneco and his wife Rachael Moore, Jennifer Millar and her husband Matthew, Thomas Barry and his wife Alexis, Brianna Frentzko, Rebecca Barry, John Rhoat, Daniel Frentzko, Joseph Migneco, Tess Rhoat, Samantha Migneco, Victoria Migneco, Erin Migneco, Grace Varga, Mia Migneco, Michael Migneco, great grandchildren Maggie and Eoin Millar, Eleonora and Viola Migneco.
Ann was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, John, daughter Susan, and her sister Kathleen Mollica.
Ann was employed by NJIT as the Assistant Director of Food Services for 25 years, retiring in 1992.
Ann devoted her time and energy for over 50 years to St. Michael's Church, active with their school, PTA, and Parish Council. She was the first extraordinary Eucharistic Minister and Chief Sacristan.
Ann was proud of her Irish heritage, enjoyed her garden and decorating St. Michael's Church. But most importantly she cherished her role as mom, grandma, GG, sister, aunt, and friend.
Funeral is 8:15am Tuesday from the Megaro Memorial Home 503 Union Ave, Belleville (megaromemorialhome.com). Mass will be celebrated 9am in St. Michael's Church, Newark (live streamed on the church Facebook page), followed by interment in Clinton Cemetery, Irvington. Visitation is Monday 4-6pm.
