Anna Marie Pinto, 80, of Silver Spring, Maryland, formerly of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Born on October 20, 1939, in Teora, Italy, she is the daughter of the late Mario Lepore and Filomena (Stephanelli) Lepore and the beloved wife of the late Diodato Pinto. She lived in Belleville and Nutley for more than 50 years, prior to moving to Silver Spring four years ago.
She is survived by her children, Julia Pinto-Fryer of Olney, Maryland, and Consuela Pinto and her husband, Jay Brown of Silver Spring, Maryland, her grandchildren, John, Anthony, and Eric Fryer and Isabel and Matthew Brown, her sister, Theresa and her husband, Paolo Varricchio of Belleville, NJ , her niece Jennifer Pancza and husband Greg Pancza of Forked River, NJ, her nephews Michael Mulcahy of Bricktown and Peter Varricchio, and his wife Carmela Varricchio of Flanders, NJ. She is predeceased by her sister, Patricia Mulcahy and brother-in-law, Edmund Mulcahy of Bricktown, NJ.
A celebration of Anna Marie’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory can be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation; University of Maryland Hospital Covid-19 Relief Fund or The Padre Pio Foundation.
